Eternal Sleep

Tears that fall make my heart bleed.

Drowning in blood, my soul sinks.

The deeper I drown, greater faith have I,

But to no avail, I drown in eternal sleep.

Of my life I tell the devils,

Of the times — the times gone by.

It makes them weep,

But what good is it?

For now I am dead,

Lying underground,

In an eternal sleep.

I climbed the mountains,

I swam the seas,

I touched the sky,

But yet I rest in agony unknown.

As faces fade to oblivion

And memories turn to sand,

I weep.
